GM Service Engineering Ltd is an engineering business in Biddenden. We support the butchery, hospitality, medical, packaging & processing industries across the country.
Responsibilities:
* Planning, scheduling & allocating jobs to our service engineers for the following day(s) based on skillsets, availability & geographical location.
* Ability to react and re-route plans based on customer emergencies or high priority jobs.
* Part of the service desk team liaising with customers via phone and e-mail to log and populate job information onto our system.
* Manage and update databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
* Conduct data entry tasks, such as inputting customer information or updating inventory records.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including the ability to use office software such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with office equipment and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to perform general administrative duties such as typing and filing.
