Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Duties
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
* Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies regarding financial reporting.
* Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent systems.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
