Position Overview
Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer.
Location: Based near Chichester.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000.

Responsibilities
 * Working on projects across the public and private sectors, including residential and commercial developments, sports venues, schools, etc.
 * Producing technical documents, such as Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and Flood Estimation Reports.
 * Contributing to Drainage Strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
 * Using software such as MicroDrainage and AutoCAD to produce work.
Required Skills and Experience
 * Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geography, or a similar relevant discipline.
 * Good knowledge of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Design.
 * Keen understanding of Hydraulic Modelling.
 * Proficiency in the use of MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and other similar software systems.
 * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
 * Good literacy and numeracy skills, especially for report writing.
 * Genuine interest in flood risk and drainage and their importance in environmental and engineering projects.
Desirable Skills and Experience
 * Prior experience in a flood risk and/or drainage role.
 * Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region.
 * Excellent working knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors.
