HGV Technician Nottingham [NG2] On-going [until further notice] with temp to perm possibly available for the right candidate £18.89 - £21.17 per hour Immediate start available Gi Group are recruiting a HGV Technician for one of our local authority clients in the centre of Nottingham. You will be part of a team working to support the environment services fleet of HGVs. Core Duties: * Prepare, present and accompany all HGV vehicles for annual MOT inspections * Carry out periodic safety inspections to all HGV vehicles to VOSA inspection manual standards * Conduct diagnostic tests on complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on vehicles within the mixed fleet Skills and Qualifications Required: * Qualification: You must have a City & Guilds Level 3 Qualification in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering (or equivalent which covers the MOT inspection standards) * Physical Fitness: Tasks may require physical exertion, so a good level of fitness is needed * Equipment operation: Tasks may require the use of hand tools, power tools and other equipment * Teamwork: You will work both independently and as part of a team Key Information and Benefits: * Weekly pay * Free onsite parking * Pension scheme * Pay rate: £18.89 - £21.17 * Shift time: 09:00 - 17:00 Call Chris or John on (phone number removed) or email for any queries with the role Should you require any support or assistance on your applicati...
