Administrator – Madeleine House, Birmingham
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £26,500 per annum (pro-rata)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Are you an organised and caring person who loves helping others and keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a friendly Administrator to join our wonderful team at Madeleine House in Birmingham.
As the heart of our home’s office, you’ll make a real difference every day – supporting residents, families, and colleagues to ensure everything behind the scenes runs perfectly.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Keeping our administration and finance systems accurate, organised, and up to date.
2. Providing friendly, professional support to residents, families, and staff.
3. Managing day-to-day financial processes such as income collection, payroll support, and resident accounts.
4. Ensuring records, reports, and documentation meet compliance standards.
5. Supporting the Home Manager and wider team to keep everything running smoothly, even when things get busy.
What We’re Looking For
6. A Level 2 qualification in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent).
7. Experience working in an office environment, ideally within administration or finance.
8. A good understanding of financial processes such as budgets, debt management, and payroll.
9. A strong sense of confidentiality and data protection, particularly when handling residents’ personal information.
10. Awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
Your Skills and Qualities
11. Confident using a range of computer systems and software packages.
12. Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
13. Comfortable working with numbers and producing accurate information.
14. A positive team player with a warm, approachable manner and a willingness to help others.

Madeleine House in Birmingham is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 41 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
