Role
We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the Autoscribe Matrix-Gemini product and drive its success. You will bridge customers, business stakeholders, and technology, balancing client requirements, business priorities, and technical constraints while staying aligned with our strategic outlook. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with deep product management experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and the life sciences industry who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and delivering measurable value.
Responsibilities
* Subject matter expert on Autoscribe Matrix Gemini serving Instem’s customer base.
* Interpret market needs, track industry trends, and identify cost-effective user-friendly approaches to meet requirements.
* Break down complex product requirements into actionable user stories and tasks for engineering teams; lead design discussions to ensure features are feasible.
* Define acceptance criteria and ensure understanding of technical, regulatory, and risk considerations.
* Align product vision with technical implementation; ensure roadmaps are realistic and achievable.
* Continuously prioritize features and tasks based on business needs, stakeholder input, and technical dependencies.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure features meet business goals.
* Work with operations and customer-facing teams to ensure smooth product rollout and address post-launch issues.
* Develop and maintain a financial model for the product demonstrating its value and revenues over time.
* Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure work is handled securely, professionally, and diligently.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Seasoned product manager with several years of end-to-end product lifecycle experience.
* Strong knowledge of LIMS and the life sciences industry; experience with Matrix-Gemini or similar solutions is highly desirable.
* Strong prioritization and ability to balance short-term gains with long-term strategy.
* Understanding of software development processes, technologies (AI, APIs, cloud platforms), and technical requirements.
* Skilled at collaborating with and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in planning and coordinating product releases and managing timelines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
