What you will do: * Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, and post-surgery. * Deliver specialized physiotherapy interventions like airway clearance techniques, breathing exercises, and early mobilization to optimize respiratory function. * Manage patients requiring non-invasive ventilation (NIV), high-flow nasal oxygen, or other respiratory support, collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team. * Provide physiotherapy treatment in critical care environments, including ICU and HDU, for patients with complex respiratory needs. * Develop individualized treatment strategies based on clinical assessments and evidence-based practices ensuring the best patient outcomes. * Participate in ward rounds and case conferences to maintain coordinated patient care with a multidisciplinary approach. * Facilitate safe discharge planning for patients, including referrals to community services or pulmonary rehabilitation programmes.
