Tool Shop Team Leader Competitive + Benefits Welwyn Garden City Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Tool Shop Team Leader to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City Performance Objectives Supporting the Supervisor/Manager with day-to-day operations of the tooling shop Responsible for carrying out Opex/WTC (walk the cell), FOD walks, and HSE audits daily Ensure the team are aware of daily targets and responsibilities To be productive, efficient and provide good quality tools and service, escalating any issues that impact the Tooling plan Ensure achievement of production throughput against stated capacity (url removed); OTIF Tools are prepared to the correct technical standard to provide maximum batch run and product quality. Tool modifications and refurbishments are completed prior to the next forming run while adhering to all safety standards, and internal protocols Monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization Monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools Support Engineers in tooling problems and design ideas.
