Job Description
Balance. All people want is a balance between the work they put in and the rewards they get out.
At many firms, this isn't the case. You may not get the clients or support needed, and unrealistic expectations might be placed on you. Often, hard work is rewarded more for the company than for you. Not here.
At this financial planning firm, they've got the balance right. You'll inherit enough ongoing fees to cover your validation, and you'll earn a bonus (30%) on all new business you generate.
Your client bank (approximately 100 clients) will require servicing, which takes time away from developing new business. However, this existing client base offers opportunities for new business, both directly and through referrals. As you'll be inheriting clients from a retiring planner, you'll have plenty of opportunities to expand your work with your current clients.
The firm also offers different services so clients with less complex needs can be managed by other advisers, allowing you to focus on clients with ongoing needs. As you grow and develop your book, you'll earn bonuses on increasing ongoing fees (15%). This rewards both your immediate efforts in acquiring new business and your long-term success in client retention.
In addition to the generous bonus structure, you'll receive a competitive starting salary based on your experience (£60,000 - £75,000).
Benefits include:
* 25 days annual leave
* A day off for your birthday
* Contributory pension scheme
* Private healthcare
* Life assurance
* Health insurance
You will have the support of paraplanners and administrators in your local office, enabling you to spend more time with clients rather than on paperwork.
What You'll Need
* Level 4 adviser qualification
* At least 3 years of experience
* CAS certification
* Energy, determination, and the ability to manage a sizeable client portfolio while developing new business
Clients are located in East Riding, along with your local office, so residing in the area is preferred.
