We are looking for a housekeeping shift lead who will help us create a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment, products and supported by a first‑class training programme. The Evening Shift Lead supports the Head of Housekeeping in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department during evening hours.
Responsibilities
* Care about our patients to organise your work and plan your time, with assistance from the Head of Housekeeping, ensuring cleaning never interferes with a patient’s experience.
* Be friendly with good communication and customer service skills, useful when working in a team and interacting with patients.
* Assist in the coordination and supervision of evening housekeeping activities to ensure all assigned areas and rooms meet company standards.
* Lead, support, and motivate the evening housekeeping team to achieve departmental objectives.
* Ensure cleaning processes are followed and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
* Work closely with the Infection Prevention team, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.
* Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Head of Housekeeping during evening hours.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar leadership role within a healthcare facility or equivalent.
