Job Description

Our Geomatics team is transforming how we understand and interact with the built environment. Utilizing state‑of‑the‑art technology, our experts capture spatial data with unparalleled accuracy, achieving precision down to 0.2%. Our meticulously measured surveys and detailed reports adhere to the RICS Property Measurement Standard and serve as the foundation for architectural design and the creation of comprehensive Building Information Models (BIM).

This two‑year graduate programme is designed for graduates eager to specialize as Land/Measured Building Surveyors. You will gain hands‑on experience across a diverse range of spatial data capture techniques, utilizing the latest in Land Surveying technology. You will become an integral part of our Geomatics team, with opportunities to gain experience across various market sectors.

We are committed to your professional growth. Throughout the programme, we will provide comprehensive support to help you achieve your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and attain membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).


Responsibilities

* Conduct surveys on site using tools such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser scanners and drones
* Import, clean, and process raw field data
* Analyse and manipulate data using specialised software (e.g., AutoCAD)
* Generate and analyse reports to identify issues, calculate areas, volumes and other relevant measurements
* Create detailed plans, sections, elevations and 3D models of buildings and sites

Qualifications

* Academic credentials: currently studying or on track for a 2:1 minimum in an RICS accredited degree in Geospatial Surveying, Mapping or GIS related discipline
* Non‑Cognate students from a Geography degree discipline are also welcome (2:1 minimum)
* Technical acumen: understanding of building surveying technical aspects and genuine interest in the real estate and built environment

Other Requirements

In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.

For Defence arena roles, you must pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance. The process will begin after accepting an offer and confirming willingness to undergo the checks.
