Hybrid working arrangements but must be local to the office.
Permanent, full time (35 hours per week Monday – Friday)
£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Our client is a leading organisation formed over 20 years ago, providing a range of digital software solutions to a specialist industry sector. They are award-winning with a strong market share within their sector. Additionally, they operate a marketing agency specialising in PPC / SEO and digital marketing for their clients.
Role
Due to continued growth, they are expanding their team with a new Product Owner. The role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle for both new product development (NPD) and existing products.
You will understand customer and market requirements, identify practical and valuable solutions, and determine necessary development to achieve the company's vision, mission, and goals.
The Product Team drives projects and small changes to ensure technology products and features align with strategy and are on the business and technology roadmap. You will collaborate with the wider Product Team to research and deliver valuable solutions.
Key Duties Include
* Maintain a continuous view of product performance and review products throughout their lifecycle to help the client maintain a market-leading position.
* Participate in idea generation and manage the idea backlog to prioritize activities aligned with the company's vision, mission, and purpose.
* Oversee the NPD process and work closely with the Product Team to ensure projects of value are delivered that meet requirements.
* Support the rollout of new releases to ensure smooth and successful product launches.
* Build relationships and manage communication flow around products.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar Product Owner role within a B2B SaaS environment. You should leverage your experience, knowledge, and understanding to support the team, implement new processes, and help shape the future of the Product Team.
Additional Qualifications
* Experience managing product development and delivery of B2B SaaS products
* Understanding of Agile methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to maintain professional relationships in challenging situations
* Experience managing product rollouts from conception to launch
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
* Customer-focused with a passion for delivering solutions
* Willingness to learn and undertake training as needed
* Jira experience
* PO/PM qualification and/or Agile certification
* Experience coaching and developing others
* Automotive industry experience, particularly in used car dealerships
* Domain knowledge
