About the Role
To conduct various types of on-street transport surveys, engaging with members of the public and gathering information on behalf of Nottingham City Council departments and client companies and organisations; putting up and taking down Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders; and delivering letters and leaflets to households across the city.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to:
* Perform a variety of traffic counts including vehicle passing and turning counts, classified counts, parking surveys, vehicle occupancy counts etc.
* Put up and take down Temporary Traffic Regulation Order notices across Nottingham city.
* Conduct questionnaire survey interviews with members of the public and/or business owners either face-to-face or over the telephone.
* Be competent in using a computer and entering data into a spreadsheet.
* Undertake some office work such as printing, photocopying and collating documents.
