An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new nursing home which is a new build opened recently in the Liverpool, Merseyside area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This nursing home will offer nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare and specialist learning disability services to its residents.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
* Acting as the home’s nurse expert, combining nursing, managerial and leadership skills.
* Focusing on residents with complex needs, ensuring conformance with the latest guidelines, making far‑reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance while regularly auditing practices and procedures.
* Care plan development and assessments.
* Look after all residents alongside the team and offer personalised, centred care.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
* Good clinical skills.
* Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP24.50 per hour and the annual salary is GBP50,960 per annum. This permanent full‑time role is 40 hours a week, working day shifts.
