Main Responsibilities
* Lead and manage your section during service
* Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
* Support the Head and Sous Chefs in delivering colleague training and mentoring
* Work efficiently to ensure quality and speed without compromising standards
* Maintain portion control, minimise waste, and assist in stock control and ordering
* Contribute ideas for menu development and innovation
* Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures
* Foster positive working relationships with all departments
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience as a Commis Chef or 2 years as a Demi Chef de Partie
* Relevant culinary qualifications (BTEC, HNC, HND or equivalent in professional cookery)
* Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (essential)
* Previous experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
* Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a proactive attitude
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for food
* Flexibility to work shifts including weekends (5 days out of 7)
