RG Consultancy are working with a well-established SME based in Middlewich who are recruiting for Finance Manager to join a small team. This role is a hands-on finance manager role to oversee the full finance function for the business.

Role Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
* Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis
* Support senior leadership with insights to aid strategic decision making
* Monitor cashflow and maintain strong financial controls
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
* Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting where needed
* Work closely with internal teams to support commercial performance
* Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and advisors
* Support and develop a member of the finance team
Person Specification
* Strong experience in a financial and accounting role within an SME
* Experience working within an accounts management role
* Previous experience within a construction or manufacturing experience
* A professional accounting qualification CIMA/ACCA/ACA would be an advantage but not essential for this role
* Strong systems IT experience, SAGE would be preferable
