Children & Family Support Worker Contract Type: Permanent NJC Salary Scale 6 Points 18 - 22, £15,434.45 - £16,492.57 per annum 21 hours and 45 min a week, 08:15 – 16:00 with 30 mins lunch 3 days per week TTO plus TED days The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified children and family support worker. The role will be for 3 full days 8.15am-4pm. Days can be agreed for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will: Have experience of supporting families and children within the primary age range Have a nurturing and understanding approach Have experience of the Early Help Assessment (EHA) Have experience/interest in working with children with specific needs eg. Mental health, anxiety, low self-esteem etc Have experience in supporting families through early help Have appropriate knowledge of signposting parents and families to external agencies Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic Have an enthusiasm/experience in mental health and support our mental health leaders in school as part of our whole school wellbeing offer Have an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development. Have a passion for enabling the best outcomes for our children.
