Role- Payroll Administrator
Position: Full Time
Salary: Up to £32,000
Location: Coventry
Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Processing monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, pay changes, statutory payments, sickness, and payrolled benefits in kind
Ensuring payroll activities comply with company policy, HMRC regulations, and current legislation
Managing payroll and benefits uploads to third‑party providers (e.g. pension schemes)
Responding promptly and professionally to payroll-related queries from employees and management
Completing monthly payroll reconciliations
Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information
Supporting ad‑hoc payroll and administrative duties as requiredAbout You
You will be:
Highly organised with strong time‑management skills
Confident using digital tools, including Microsoft Office products
Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
Naturally discreet with the ability to work sensitively with confidential data
Comfortable acting as a key point of contact for payroll queriesSkills & Experience
Essential:
Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
Advanced Excel skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident handling payroll queriesDesirable:
