Were looking for a detail-driven, analytically minded Data & Planning Manager to support Whistls fulfilment network by owning key performance metrics, forecasting, and strategic planning across multiple operational sites. This vital role is evenly split across Northampton, Wellingborough, and Lutterworth, supporting the performance, planning, and decision-making processes at each location. Youll be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, developing planning tools, and delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders across the business. About the Role What Youll Be Doing Analyse data to support resource planning, forecasting, and invoicing accuracy and interpret customer forecasts to align resource planning. Maintain and develop monthly MI packs for senior management. Collaborate with IT to scope and build daily operational reporting tools and distribute daily performance reports across internal and external teams. Build and maintain SLA and KPI reports for both clients and internal teams. Develop peak planning documents for multiple fulfilment sites. Interpret customer forecasts to align resource planning. Identify and recommend process and productivity improvements. Assist in developing customer-facing reporting portals. Ensure stakeholders are accountable for reporting responsibilities. Requirements Skills & Experience Previous experience in a logistics or operational setting - experience in e-commerce or fulfilment is highly desirable Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with a demonstrableability to manage and interpret large data sets Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Confident communicator with great presentation and influencing skills Strong problem-solving and ownership mentality ; comfortable challenging existing processes to drive improvement Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach Technical Experience Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with SQL and/or other data tools Good understanding of IT systems and reporting platforms Education Minimum A-Level qualification (or equivalent) Formal training in Excel and SQL preferred Other Requirements Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the UK to support fulfilment sites Flexibility to adapt working hours based on operational need Step into a strategic role that shapes operations.
