Field Service Technician – Scotland (M8 Corridor)
Salary: £30,000 | Benefits: Holidays, company vehicle, equipment provided, overtime
Do you have a proven electrical background with knowledge of three phase electrics and can work with mechanical systems? Are you looking for a day position that can offer additional earnings? Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a field service engineer for one of our clients based in Scotland. This role would suit someone who has an electro-mechanical background and is motivated to travel between different customer sites.

Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of automated storage and retrieval solutions. Their products are designed to increase productivity and improve the efficiency of working practices. With their tailor-made solutions, they can considerably reduce the company's storage space. Clients will include manufacturing sites, distribution centres, and warehousing facilities. They have successfully installed more than 140,000 systems in multiple sectors such as retail, warehouse & distribution, defence, and aerospace since 1873.
The Role
The field service engineer will respond to service breakdowns and carry out maintenance of our products. You will have a mixture of planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdowns. It is electro-mechanical maintenance; full training is provided on our client's products and H&S training is also provided. Great opportunity to upskill and learn new skills. This is a Monday - Friday days position with a call out rota after probation (1 in 4-6 weeks).
The Candidate
* Electrical Maintenance/Service Experience
* Must have a proven electrical background
* 3-phase electrics knowledge
* Sound Mechanical knowledge
* Electrical Qualification (desirable)
* Motivated to work in Field Service role
* Located in the M8 corridor (Between Glasgow and Edinburgh)

* Starting salary £30,000
* OTE £38,000 +
