Financial Accountant - 15 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Warwick (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

A well-established, global organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Control & Accounting team on a 15-month fixed-term basis.
Working closely with the Chief Accountant, this role will focus on period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver accurate and timely month-end and period-end reporting
2. Reconcile key balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
3. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully closed out
4. Provide variance analysis against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers
5. Support continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes
6. Partner with commercial and operational teams to support financial performance
About You
7. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
8. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
9. Proven experience in reconciliations and financial reporting
10. Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax
11. Experience using ERP systems (SAP desirable)
12. Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
