Peaple Talent is partnering with a leading professional services organization seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to take ownership of their IT estate and drive technical excellence across the business.
You’ll work hands‑on across a mature, well‑structured IT environment, ensuring secure, reliable, high‑performing infrastructure and leading the organization’s cloud transformation journey into Azure.

What You’ll Do
* Oversee and optimise all technical IT operations, including infrastructure, networking, systems, backups, and security
* Drive and support the organization’s Azure cloud transformation (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
* Ensure system availability, resilience, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance
* Implement and refine IT policies, processes, and procedures aligned with industry best practices
* Manage vendor relationships and handle technical escalations
* Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity initiatives
What You’ll Bring
* 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a senior technical or lead role
* Proven expertise in managing Microsoft Azure environments and cloud migrations
* Strong understanding of networking, virtualisation, and security principles
* Experience with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
