Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. This role requires a proactive approach to market analysis and client engagement, ensuring that our offerings align with customer needs. The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and contributing to the overall success of the organisation. You will have experience in Road, Sea and Air Freight and be able to bring in new business in these areas.
Duties
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company's brand and offerings.
* Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
Experience
* Proven experience in business development or sales roles in Freight Forwarding.
* Strong understanding of sales principles and practices with a track record of achieving targets.
* Proficiency in lead management and reporting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* A degree in Business Administration or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
