BCA are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Operations team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our Cloud infrastructure. This role demands expertise in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Terraform, YAML Pipelines, Platform as a Service (PaaS) Services, Containers, and Kubernetes (K8s). As a Cloud Engineer in our Operations function, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Azure Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and management of Azure-based resources and services. Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of Azure infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform: Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML Pipelines. Automate deployment and release processes to maintain consistent, reliable software delivery. PaaS Services: Utilize Azure's PaaS services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database to build scalable, highly available solutions. Implement and manage these services to meet application requirements. Maintain and scale containerized applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Ensure container security, scaling, and efficient orchestration. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for Azure-related issues and incidents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex problems. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support as needed. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders. Key Skills Microsoft Azure certifications, such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-400, are preferred. Proven experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure within an Operations context. Strong knowledge of Azure services, virtualization, networking, and security. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform. PowerShell & Bash, Terraform YAML experience Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS). Supporting On-prem to cloud migrations Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
