If so, we'd love to hear from you!At Colchester Institute, we're looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Trainer/Assessor to support our Health & Social Care Apprenticeship programmes on an hourly-paid basis.Job Title: College Assessor Trainer - Health & Social CarePart time, 0-20 hours per week.About the Role: Conducting workplace assessments in line with City & Guilds awarding body standardsDelivering engaging one-to-one and group training sessionsProviding constructive feedback and tailored support to help learners succeedMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of learner progressBuilding strong relationships with employers to support apprentice successEssential Qualifications: Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent.Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalentLevel 3 Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one within 2 years in postAssessor's AwardEssential Experience: Proven experience of assessing learners in a health and social care setting.Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks within adult care.An understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion practicesAll applications will be assessed against the stated essential requirements, so please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates how you meet them.We do not engage with recruitment or search agencies unless they have been officially contracted in line with our PSL.TPBN1_UKTJ
