Job Description
Key responsibilities for Finance Manager:
* Managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Board of Directors.
* Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external auditors.
* Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
* Providing strategic financial advice and recommendations.
* Leading the finance team and promoting a collaborative working environment.
* Participating in the development of the organisation's strategic plans.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the public sector or government industry.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
