K&A Appliance has a great reputation in the community for service, products, customer experience, and work environment. Having experienced rapid growth, K&A Appliance is hiring full-time Delivery/Installation personnel to work out of their Greenfield facility.
Job Summary:
* Deliver and install appliances in customers' homes, including refrigerators (some with water lines), chest freezers, gas and electric ranges, ovens, stove-tops, in-wall ovens, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers (gas & electric).
* Use a Shoulder Dolly Lifting System with a partner for deliveries.
* Disconnect and remove old appliances.
* Communicate with customers regarding arrival times.
* Occasionally bill customers for parts and labor, and receive payments.
* Maintain an on-truck stock of parts used in installations.
* Work typically 40 to 50 hours a week, from 7am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
* Warehouse work on Saturdays once a month, from 9am to 4pm.
* Assist with loading/unloading appliances using hand trucks; perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
* Enjoy a schedule with Sundays and major holidays off.
* Receive weekly payroll via direct deposit.

Job Requirements:
* Experience in delivering and installing household appliances, or related work as an electrician or plumber.
* Own and know how to use necessary tools for appliance installation.
* Valid and clean PA driver's license.
* At least one year of experience operating straight or cube trucks; CDL not required.
* Ability to safely lift, move, and carry large appliances, often up/down stairs, with a partner.
* Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently; more with assistance.
* Proficiency in connecting water and gas lines, checking for leaks.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations.
* Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Complete all paperwork legibly.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour ($720 to $1,155 per week)
