Key responsibilities for Field Service Engineer
1. Provide exceptional service to all customers
2. Identify and resolve issues, and contribute to technical bulletins
3. Perform regular PPM maintenance on existing products
4. Install systems and products
5. Update site equipment and carry out hardware and software modifications
6. Manage and control spare parts for repairs and upgrades
7. Build long-term customer relationships
8. Ensure minimal downtime of items
9. Report issues on the company's system
10. Respond to calls within 2 hours with a high first-time fix rate
11. Accurately record all documentation
Additional duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs.
Minimum requirements
* Full UK driving license
* Electrical/electronic background with recognized engineering qualifications (advantageous)
* Experience with networks and server installation and maintenance (advantageous)
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Organized and self-motivated
* Weekend and evening call-out availability on a rota system
