Trading Underwriter - Property & Liability - Salary is Competitive

Aviva is seeking a Property & Liability Underwriter to join our team, managing a portfolio of brokers and customers to proactively develop and grow their commercial book of business.
About the role:
The successful candidate will handle daily underwriting activities and utilize data insights to deliver comprehensive customer solutions. Responsibilities include end-to-end dealings with brokers and customers, collaborating with team members to support the lead trading underwriter and underwriting leader in achieving financial targets. Opportunities to progress towards underwriting license levels will be available. You will be responsible for your own book of business, meeting set targets and KPIs.
Required skills and experience:
* Experience in Property & Liability underwriting is essential.
* Strong communication, listening, time management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a complex organization.
* Ability to handle underwriting referrals and mentor less experienced colleagues.
* ACII qualifications and good knowledge of FCA rules and relevant legislation.
* Ability to analyze risks and communicate effectively with brokers and customers.
