A vacancy has arisen for a qualified specialist practitioner within the District nursing service in Clackmannan & Stirling Health & Social Care Partnership.
This is a permanent band 6 post as per Agenda for Change. The post holder will work across the geographical area and may be asked to cover other caseloads within the area. Weekend working and variable shift patterns are required on a flexible rotational basis.
The post holder should have a District Nursing qualification (degree or diploma) or be working towards one and have relevant community nursing experience.
If the Advanced Clinical Examination (ACE) or Advanced Nurse Prescribing qualification is not held, it is expected to be completed within the first year of employment.
Experience in team leadership/management and caseload management is desirable. Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with different professional groups are essential. An interest in quality improvement and change management is advantageous. A good awareness of national policies and willingness to lead their implementation locally are also desirable.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the service delivery area are essential.
