The Role
They are seeking an organised and compassionate Pharmacy Dispenser with experience only (Preferably qualified) to join their dynamic Gloucester team. In this role, youll ensure the accurate preparation and supply of medications while providing excellent customer service and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Select, label, and dispense medications following SOPs and legal guidelines
Assist in the secure and compliant handling of controlled drugs
Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records (PMR)
Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for patients with complex needs
Offer basic advice on medication and general health, referring as needed
Support inventory control ordering, storing, rotating, and disposing of medicines safely
Ensure hygiene and infection prevention standards are upheld
Participate in incident reporting and continuous service improvement
Engage in ongoing training and professional development

The Ideal Candidate:
Our client is looking for someone who brings precision, empathy, and reliability to every task. About you:
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or working towards)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Friendly and professional communication skills
Commitment to confidentiality and data protection
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Confident using IT and digital systems
Desirable:
Previous pharmacy experience (community, hospital, or homecare)
Knowledge of PMR systems (e.g., ProScript)
Public health and service innovation experience
Multilingual skills to support diverse patients
