Salary: USP Grade 2/3, SP 3-6 (FTE: £24,795 - £25,989 / Actual: £19,611 - £20,556 per annum) depending on experience

Job type: Permanent, Part Time (35 hours per week / 38 weeks per year)
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of The Bridge School, which joined Unity Schools Partnership multi-academy trust in June 2019. We are looking for individuals with a passion for SEN to join our friendly, hardworking team and make an impact on the learning of our students. The successful applicant will need to be flexible and prepared to assist pupils on a one-to-one basis as well as in small groups and whole class settings.
The Bridge School educates children and young people aged 4 - 18 with a wide range of communication, physical, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many pupils are on the Autistic Spectrum. The catchment area covers Ipswich and surrounding areas of Suffolk. The school is part of a collaborative, forward-thinking Academy Trust. You will be supported by experienced special education leaders who offer advice and guidance as the school moves forward under their leadership. Significant training and development is available through opportunities for professional development, research, teacher training and collaboration between schools and across phases.
Responsibilities
* Assist pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and within whole class settings.
* Support learning and inclusion for pupils with a range of communication, physical and learning difficulties, including those on the Autistic Spectrum.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and leaders to contribute to pupil progress and safe, effective learning environments.

* Passion for SEN and commitment to inclusive education.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and to support pupils with diverse needs.
* Willingness to engage in significant training and professional development opportunities.
