We're seeking a data-driven, highly communicative SDR Team Lead to spearhead our modern outbound pipeline engine. This is a unique 'Player-Coach' role designed for a top‑tier outbound professional who wants to retain their sharp prospecting edge while stepping into operational leadership. You will manage a team of three outbound SDRs, ensuring a consistent, balanced pipeline velocity into our core public and private sector profiles using premium tools like Cognism and HubSpot Sales Sequences.
Duties and responsibilities
- Player element (50% Outbound Execution): Lead by example by managing your own high-value outbound territory. Execute multi-channel outreach (cold calling, targeted social selling, and tailored email sequences) to secure highly qualified discovery.
- Coach element (50% Team Leadership & Enablement): Manage, mentor, and monitor the daily high-activity metrics of 3 outbound SDRs. Run weekly cold call breakdown sessions, refine email scripts, and maintain strict HubSpot CRM hygiene across the board.
- Data & sequence strategy: Build, launch, and continuously optimise automated HubSpot Sales Sequences. Harness daily data streams within Cognism to build laser-focused target lists across our core strategic ICPs.
- Pipeline diagnostics: Maintain a relentless pulse on overall pipeline velocity. Act as the early warning system for leadership to ensure our Mid‑Market and Enterprise closers have consistently full pipelines without execution bottleneck.
- Culture, trust & camaraderie: Act as a champion for our award‑winning culture. Drive employee engagement through collaborative milestones, peer‑to‑peer coaching, and positive reinforcement, fostering a healthy, constructive sales environment.
Experience and attributes required
- Proven outbound performance: 18 months+ of consistent quota over‑achievement as a B2B SaaS, Managed IT, or Cyber Security SDR/BDR.
- Tech stack mastery: Deep proficiency with HubSpot CRM, Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and automated outreach sequencing tools.
- Supportive leadership style: Previous experience as a Senior SDR, mentor, or team captain. Possess exceptional emotional intelligence, a collaborative peer attitude, and the ability to inspire a high‑activity team.
