Autism Support Worker - Wantage

This is a great opportunity to work as an autism support worker in a lovely school in Wantage, helping students with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties. The role starts ASAP.
The role
* Primarily assist the classroom teacher by helping students with daily tasks and creating a positive learning environment.
* Prepare learning materials and lessons for the day.
* Track student progress.
* Support children with their daily tasks and maintain an engaging learning environment.
Ideal candidate
* Have experience working with SEN children.
* Be patient, nurturing and keen to learn.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Understand the importance of safeguarding.
* Bring a fun element to the classroom.

* Contract: Full time – long term
* Pay: £95‑£105 per day
