Job Description
We are looking for a proactive HSE Business Partner/Manager to join Ocado Logistics and support our business teams in maintaining and improving Health, Safety, Fire, and Environmental compliance. This role is instrumental in ensuring best practices, driving compliance, and fostering a safe workplace culture across our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
* Acting as the first point of contact for HSE matters, providing expert guidance to facility management teams.
* Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple sites to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
* Supporting operational teams with incident investigations, trend analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Keeping up to date with legislation changes and advising on necessary policy and system updates.
* Coaching and mentoring teams to embed a strong safety culture throughout the business.
About You
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent recognised certificate.
* Experience in a Health, Safety, Fire & Environmental role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to compile accurate reports and communicate findings effectively.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (insured for business use) as travel will be required across a region.
