An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Norwich, Norfolk area. The home is registered for older people and employs a team of staff skilled in person:centred nursing and dementia care.
Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life.
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and the requirements of external regulators.
- Report to the regional Operations Manager and create and lead a vision for the home, encouraging and supporting a journey to outstanding.
- Operate as a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience of managing a care home.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of achieving outstanding.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, including internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
- Proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful or outstanding rated care home.
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing a high level of person:centred care.
- Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.

Salary: GBP60,000 per annum. Position is permanent, full time, 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm.
