The Finance and Business Assurance Service Area based at Floor 4 Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster is looking to recruit a Business Assurance Officer on a temporary full time basis.
You will be part of a strategic service supporting the rest of the organisation and your role reporting directly to the Governance Service Manager, will be responsible for:
* Undertaking compliance checks in line with the Business Assurance programme and organise, administer and report on the organisations fraud and risk management framework.
* To support the Governance Service Manager in delivery of the organisations Internal Audit Programme including, facilitation of the audit process, management of audit action sign-off and reporting to EMT and Audit Committee.
* To support the organisations management team in respect of organising, information gathering and carrying out investigations.
* Review existing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and government guidance. This will include raising awareness with staff.
* reports and statistics at the request of management as required to assist in operational service assurance and any ongoing investigations.
* To provide any required analysis including service level agreement performance monitoring.
