The School and the Role
Vision for Education are working in partnership with a two-form entry primary school in Sefton, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and proactive teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child in KS1 with complex needs. This full-time role will require you to work Monday to Friday, offering consistent and tailored support to help the child thrive.
As the child’s key teaching assistant, you will be instrumental in delivering targeted interventions in line with their EHCP, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling them to reach their full potential. You will receive excellent training and support from the school, alongside access to high-quality resources. Collaboration with the school’s SENDCo and external professionals will be a key part of the role, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
1. A passion for SEND and experience working with Primary aged children
2. A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
3. An ability to work as part of a team
4. Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
