Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £95.00 - £110.00 Per day

Skills: Behaviour Management, SEN Experience
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behaviour
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance
* Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behaviour
* Provide 1:1/group interventions
* Monitor students' progress
Required Qualifications:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
* Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role
* Experience working with students with challenging behaviour and SEN
* Alternation Provision experience is ideal
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of young people with behavioural difficulties and SEN
* Excellent behavioural management skills
* Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
* Familiarity with alternative provisions
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support
* Training in behaviour management techniques
