Youll play a key role in leading a team of credit control and administration staff, ensuring arrears are managed effectively, compliance is maintained, and most importantly customers receive the right support at the right time. What youll be doing: Leading, motivating, and inspiring your credit control/admin team to deliver results and exceptional customer outcomes Coaching, mentoring, and supporting both new starters and experienced team members so they can shine in their roles Overseeing daily workloads, ensuring service levels are consistently achieved and issues escalated where needed Making fair and compliant decisions with customers in arrears, tailoring repayment or support options to individual circumstances Taking ownership of escalated calls, turning potential complaints into positive experiences Identifying process gaps and working with management to implement improvements that drive efficiency and service quality Using daily/weekly reports and data to track performance, and creating action plans where targets arent being met Representing the credit control team in cross-department forums and working with other areas of the business to achieve results What were looking for: Proven people management experience, ideally in credit control or collections A strong communicator who can influence and build relationships at all levels Excellent coaching and training skills, with a genuine passion for helping others develop A sharp eye for detail and accuracy you take pride in getting things right Calm and confident decision-making skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively Experience in a regulated environment would be a bonus, but it isnt essential if you can demonstrate the right leadership qualities Why join?
