Business manager - manufacturing

What you will be doing

• Building strong relationships with customers and becoming their go to contact
• Winning new business and spotting where the next growth opportunities lie.
• Leading commercial negotiations and pricing discussions
• Working closely with NPD, operations, procurement, and technical teams
• Managing forecasts, tracking risks and opportunities, and keeping stakeholders informed

Preferred experience

• Strong commercial background within the food industry, ideally across manufacturing and ingredients
• Confident with numbers, able to understand and challenge a P&L
• Proven ability to structure deals that deliver for both the customer and the business
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Track record of problem solving to overcome challenges and get deals over the line

You will need to be driven, practical, and confident working in a business where things move quickly and no two days are the same.
