Teaching Assistant (Education and Training): Walsall
We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build experience in the education and training sector, with the flexibility to work in different school settings while making a real impact in the classroom.
This Teaching Assistant role offers day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements, providing vital classroom support from Early Years to Key Stage 2 within the Walsall area.
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with additional needs.
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Support with classroom management and behaviour strategies.
Promote independence and encourage learning through positive reinforcement.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or education and training environment.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils.
An enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if needed).
