Position Overview:
Are you a creative and enthusiastic social media content creator with a passion for storytelling? Doughboys Pizza is seeking a Social Media Content Creator / Marketing Executive to lead the brands online presence, crafting compelling, viral social media content and driving brand engagement. You’ll be the voice and face of Doughboys Pizza across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, creating humorous, informative and storytelling content that boosts engagement, enhances brand awareness, and accelerates sales. In addition you'll working alongside our sales and retail team to support with activations and events.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation:
* Develop and produce original, engaging content across multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) to elevate Doughboys Pizza’s digital presence.
* Take charge of video content creation, including behind-the-scenes looks at pizza-making, fun brand storytelling, product showcases, and viral trend participation (think TikTok challenges, pizza hacks, and more).
* Regularly appear on camera in videos, building an authentic and relatable connection with our audience.
* Work closely with the graphic design team (and occasionally independently using Canva or Adobe a bonus) to create eye-catching graphics and visuals for social media campaigns, promotions, and brand storytelling.
* Ensure consistent and fun brand messaging while engaging with followers through comments, DMs, and user-generated content.
Social Media Strategy and Growth:
* Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends, viral content, platform updates, and audience preferences to optimize engagement and reach.
* Leverage social media analytics to track performance, refine content strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
Marketing and Sales Support:
* Partner with the retail and sales teams to develop creative campaigns that drive brand awareness, product launches, and sales both in-store and online.
* Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and joint business plans with supermarket and hospitality partners.
* Collaborate with foodservice clients to develop tailored social media and marketing materials that support their promotional needs.
Brand Partnerships and Influencer Engagement:
* Identify, engage, and collaborate with relevant influencers, content creators, and brands to amplify our reach and increase customer acquisition.
* Represent Doughboys Pizza at events, trade shows, and collaborations to expand our digital presence and brand exposure.
Analytics and Reporting:
* Monitor and analyse social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns, track audience growth, and optimise future content strategies.
* Provide actionable insights to management on performance, audience preferences, and content trends to continually improve engagement.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience in Social Media Content Creation: Proven success in creating impactful social media content, especially for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
* Video Expertise: Confident on camera, with an ability to create authentic, engaging videos that resonate with a diverse audience.
* Content Creation Skills: Hands-on experience with video editing, content creation, and using basic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce polished and engaging visuals.
* Creative Mindset: Strong passion for storytelling, crafting viral content, and creatively representing a brand online.
* Trend Savvy: A deep understanding of social media trends, viral challenges, and audience engagement strategies.
* Self-Starter with Entrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small business environment where adaptability and initiative are key.
* Passion for Pizza: A genuine love for food, creativity, and making fun, relatable content that resonates with our target audience.
Position Information:
* Salary: £28k - £32k per annum (depending on experience)
* Hours: Full Time / 5 days a week / 9am – 5pm
* Holiday Allowance: 28 Days (including Bank Holidays)
* Location: Hybrid | Reading, Berkshire – occasional travel required.
* Employment Type: Full-time, permanent.
