Overview
This is a part-time, flexible position (employment or subcontractor) designed for someone passionate about bridging science, healthcare innovation, and funding strategy.
Responsibilities
* Grant sourcing & applications
* Identify national, EU, and global research grants and funding opportunities.
* Write and submit competitive grant applications in collaboration with our scientific and clinical teams.
* Manage reporting requirements and compliance post-award.
* Clinical study support & administration
* Support setup, documentation, and coordination of clinical trials and research collaborations.
* Act as the liaison between our internal teams, academic partners, and corporate collaborators.
* Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple projects.
* Science project management
* Coordinate joint projects with universities and life science companies.
* Oversee research-related documentation, IRB/ethics submissions, and data collection workflows.
* Ensure efficiency and compliance while enabling scientific excellence.
* Innovation & efficiency
* Use modern AI tools (literature review, drafting, project management, grant monitoring) to maximize productivity.
* Continuously improve internal processes around research and funding.
Qualifications
* PhD (or equivalent research background) in health sciences, life sciences, biomedical engineering, digital health, or related field.
* Proven experience in grant writing with a track record of successful applications (EU Horizon, NIH, national agencies, foundations).
* Strong scientific writing and communication skills in English.
* Experience with clinical research administration (protocols, ethics submissions, reporting).
* Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with academics, clinicians, and corporate partners.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, international environment.
* Bonus: Familiarity with digital therapeutics, MSK research, or health economics.
