The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Assembly Technician will contribute to the precision assembly and testing of complex, high reliability products. Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform hand soldering and wire preparation in line with IPC and relevant industry standards.
2. Assemble precision components using jigs, fixtures, and two part epoxies, ensuring all quality requirements are achieved.
3. Carry out final assembly of products to meet defined design and performance specifications, ensuring adherence to key process requirements such as quality, throughput, and mechanical/electrical tolerances.
4. Follow, maintain, and update Manufacturing Instructions, SOPs, and Product Travellers, ensuring accurate recording, analysis, and storage of data to support full traceability.
