Job Description
What you’ll do
The role of the Field Care Supervisor is to support the delivery of high-quality care by carrying out functions in the field, including assessing and reviewing individual services, supervising, instructing, and supporting care workers.
Work with Care Coordinators to plan effective care worker rotas, considering individual needs and worker skills. Conduct regular reviews of services, including risk assessments. Participate in multidisciplinary reviews of service users’ needs. Shadow new care workers to ensure competence. Observe and evaluate care worker practice on-site as part of supervision or in response to performance concerns.
Field Care Supervisors mainly work in the community but will also have administrative duties in the office.
Qualifications
What you need
Experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments for service users in their homes or settings like hospitals or care homes. Ability to work with service users, families, carers, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure holistic care delivery.
