The service is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to support outpatient neurology activity and contribute to the delivery of NHS constitutional standards. The role focuses on high quality clinical assessment, timely patient management, and effective outpatient throughput.
Main duties of the job
Deliver neurology outpatient clinics, managing a caseload of 1820 patients per list.
Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of neurological conditions in line with clinical best practice.
Support the achievement of NHS constitutional standards through timely and effective outpatient care.
Provide clear clinical documentation and followup plans to ensure continuity of care.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GMC registered Consultant in Neurology with a valid licence to practise.
* Strong outpatient neurology experience, including complex caseload management.
* Excellent communication and clinical decision making skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to wider service objectives.
