We are recruiting for Sisters/Charge Nurses within our Emergency Department Paediatric area
We are a high-performing department and in the top 10 Trusts in the country for Emergency Care. It is a very busy and exciting time to join us as we have moved into our new Urgent & Emergency Care Department.
As a skilled and valued member of our team, you will take a lead role in the coordination, planning, and delivery of individual care provided by the multidisciplinary team in the department. You will ensure the effective management of the department in the absence of the department leader. Provide professional nursing leadership, guidance, and clinical advice to staff members.
Assist in the effective operational management of the department and flow of patients within the hospital, focusing on the provision of quality care for patients.
Our new Urgent and Emergency Care Department opened in Summer 2023. The £27m department, based in a state-of-the-art facility, was operationally opened on 21 June 2023 and officially opened on 12 July.
Designed to give the best possible care to patients, it features innovative patient flow approaches, high-spec equipment, ultra-modern technology, and community-grounded artwork and wayfinding. It is a redefining jewel in Chesterfield’s crown, but it’s vital that visitors only come if they truly need to.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital offers a wide range of exciting opportunities for those passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Our People Plan outlines our current position, priorities, and actions to support and develop our colleagues.
