About the role:
Our supportive & professional team are looking for a reliable, organised, and friendly individual. In this role you will provide outstanding customer service whilst ensuring you adhere to our compliance and regulatory requirements.
This role will involve handling the administration work generated in the office with a focus on supporting the Agents and team with their day-to-day operations. This includes reviewing and processing policy renewals, dealing with customers in professional manner, processing policy amendments as requested, and seeking opportunities to introduce new or additional NFU Mutual products and services.
About you:
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• A confident personality who can work well within a team environment but can also work just as well as an individual
• Someone who shows initiative and has a “can do” attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• I.T. literacy is essential and able to adapt to new systems
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and/or Welsh and Maths).
• Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
• A full and clean driving licence and able to work in Llanrwst and Llandudno.
Good Repute Checks
Agents of NFU Mutual are required to ensure that they, and their staff are of Good Repute and are required to carry out two independent checks on all staff.
1. Basic criminality check –Basic checks show any ‘unspent’ criminal records (as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). Once a conviction or caution is ‘spent’, it no longer shows on a basic check.
2. Bankruptcy check – to ensure that staff are not an un-discharged bankrupt.
