Sewell Wallis are partnering with a growing regional firm of Accountants in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Senior Tax Manager into their team.\n\nThis is a pivotal role within the Practice where you will take ownership and lead the tax function, working closely with the SLT.\n\nOur client is looking for an individual who has a proven background of managing a portfolio of clients and delivering tax services with strong business development skills.\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nProviding advice on the tax implications of business decisions.\nAdvising on complex tax areas including VAT, company tax, IHT, Estate planning and personal tax.\nCorporate tax planning.\nPersonal balance Sheet planning and service delivery.\nEnsuring the Compliance Team delivers their scheduled work to agreed timescales.\nEnsuring compliance with relevant legislation.\nBusiness development and expanding your network by identifying opportunities to grow the client base.What skills do we need?\n\nFully qualified, ideally ATT or equivalent.\nSolid experience of working within an Accountancy Practice.\nExperience of delivering both Personal and Corporate taxation services.\nAbility to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.\nStrong business development skills.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.What's on offer?\n\nHybrid working.\nFree onsite parking.\nExcellent company culture and working environment.\nOngoing development plans.For full details, please contact Emma Dugdale.\n\nTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
